New location:Arope Insurance moved its headquarters to BLOM Bank Building Verdun. The new offices are modern, transparent, high tech, easily accessible and customer oriented.

New services: Arope developed new services to facilitate customers' requests and to offer them timely and fast service, such as the new Arope number 1219 and the establishment of a Client servicing department located at the Ground Floor easily accessible to all clients.

New Products: Arope launched during the second half of 2006 new universal life products serving as financial planning tools and allowing access to a wide spectrum of investment opportunities.

New country: Early January 2006, Arope received the official license to establish a sister company in Syria. in July 2006, Syria International Insurance (Arope Syria) started its operations. The new company is owned by Arope Insurance (34%), BLOM Bank (10%) and Bank of Syria and Overseas (BSO) (5%).The remaining is owned by several shareholders.
